~Statler's first 2009 fledge~

My apologies! I thought this was posted last week but it got caught in cyber-limbo while I was not feeling well. The week is a blur.

Anyhow, we caught the first ledgling to leave the Statler 2009 nestbox June 13th. Parent is keeping watch from atop the finial directly above the adventurous chick!

The two siblings seem very interested and they also left the nest over the next couple days
